In Fall 2024, the Straus Center sponsored a course in the History Department entitled 鈥淭he Emergence of Europe,鈥 a survey of Western Civilization from the rise of ancient Greece to the aftermath of the Renaissance and Reformation, taught by Dr. Yisroel Benporat.

Dr. Michael Doran, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute and renowned expert on U.S. foreign policy, joined the Straus Center's annual shabbaton at Congregation Shearith Israel.
Young Zionist Voices
A new edited volume of essays on Zionism by young Jewish thought leaders includes contributions from two Straus Scholars, Fayga Tziporah Pinczower and Rebecca Guzman.
